Desktop Dungeons: Rewind is an upcoming “modern remastering” of the original, with 3D graphics and the ability to rewind time rather than start each level from the very beginning. It’s got a demo you can play right now, and it’s adding free daily challenges with a sharable leaderboard later this month. I am hyped. It’s good at generating lots of small moments that feel satisfying. Just from 15 minutes of tinkering with the demo, I’ve already had a couple of times where I got to relish venturing into a single tile that restored just enough health for me to survive a fight....

It’s a survival RTS in which you’re attempting to reclaim a world from hordes of monsters and a deadly fog, and its art direction is lovely. The fog drains health from your units and hides swarms of green monsters, called Nightmares, within it. During the day you expand, using light and fire to push back the fog, and at night you must defend yourself from the swarms using your units and your defensive structures....
The Horizon Zero Dawn bundle deal is only running in EMEA regions at the moment, according to AMD’s Rewards terms and conditions, and there’s currently no telling whether the same bundle will be available in the US at a later date. However, given that this one is relatively short compared to AMD’s other games bundles, lasting just 20 days in total, I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up being an EMEA-only deal....

For starters, those trident vehicles can be ridden by all three members of your squad: one driver and two passengers who can shoot while hanging off either side. I’m getting flashbacks to warthog battles in ye olde Halo 3....
