Deathloop Pc Patch Addresses Framerate Stuttering

Hotfix 1.708.4.0 launched yesterday evening. The patch notes detail the single change:. “This hotfix addresses an issue experienced by some players on PC whereby mouse-based camera movement could result in the appearance of ‘stutter.’” It hasn’t fully resolved stuttering, mind. “Additionally, we are looking into a separate, but related issue that we have identified as a factor that may also be a cause of stuttering at high framerates,” the notes note....

Diablo Immortal System Requirements Pc Performance And The Best Settings To Use

Strictly speaking, the PC version of Diablo Immortal is in open beta, with only the mobile version launching as the finished article. The good news is that this leaves more room for the technical issues and oversights I’ve encountered to be fixed; the bad news is that they exist in the first place, and range from absent PC settings staples to repeating performance hiccups. These come in spite of some very hardware requirements that should allow Immortal to run smoothly on most PCs, though further down I’ve put together a guide to the best settings to change if you do want/need some more frames per second....

Distract Guards By Flushing Toilets In This Free Little Thief Homage

It’s a procedurally generated game made for 7dfps 2022, a game jam that challenges folks to make an fps game in seven days. Your manor will be different to mine, but the toilets will probably still be silly. You’ve got to break into the manor, steal a crown and 200 gold’s worth of coins, then get out of dodge. It’s made using procgen, so the rooms fit together in odd yet endearing ways....

Dive Into Epic S Summer Sale Today With Savings Of Up To 75 Off

Alas, Epic won’t be issuing new £10 / $10 off vouchers for their Summer Sale this time, so you’ll only have one automatically applied to your account if you didn’t use it last time. They don’t expire until November 1st, you see, according to Epic’s small print, so I’d imagine that they’ll likely hang around for a couple more sales if you don’t find anything that takes your fancy this time, either....

Do You Agree With Nyt S New Official Wordle Starting Word

As spotted by The Verge, The New York Times’s official companion app WordleBot now presents players with a new recommended starting word: SLATE. LEAST is another starting suggestion, if you’re playing on hard mode, but fundamentally you’re still working with the same five letters there, so I’m not really sure how helpful that is. This isn’t the first time WordleBot has offered starter word suggestions, though. Previously, WordleBot’s initial starter word recommendation was CRANE, with DEALT for hard mode (which at least puts a few different letters into the mix), but with this week’s upgrade to WordleBot 2....

Dontnod S Tell Me Why Is Free To Keep Right Now

Tell Me Why is about two twins, one of them a trans man, who use their magic powers to explore conflicting memories of their childhood in small-town Alaska. “We’ve received heartfelt messages from players all over the world about how Tyler’s homecoming as a trans man and Alyson’s struggle with trauma have impacted them, encouraged them, or made them feel a little less alone, especially amid the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic and pervasive transphobic rhetoric in places like the United States and the United Kingdom,” Dontnod say....

Dreamscaper Is A Roguelike That S A Bit Like Hades Meets Life Is Strange

So the Hades connection, eh? Yup, Dreamscaper borrows its roguelike formula to a tee. You control a woman called Cassidy as she battles through rooms, collects loot, and takes on a boss. Win and you’ll unlock a new set of rooms, even more difficult than the last. Die and you’ll return back to the beginning, but you’ll keep some permanent upgrades to make things a bit easier the next time you visit....

Drink Cola And Fight Someone In Treachery In Beatdown City

And that’s how it goes. The people in charge have betrayed the public trust, and it’s down to you to trust in your fists to put things right. It’s a bit great. The setup and dialogue are pretty funny and playful with it. You’re doing your thing in the gym one day, and are rudely “mistaken” for a cleaner by Ugly John. This cannot stand, so of course he must be pummelled....

Dutch Indies Vlambeer Are Shutting Down

The pair broke the news via the frequently-dormant Vlambeer Twitter account earlier today. On the studio’s tenth birthday, they’ve decided to wind things down and go their separate ways. Manage cookie settings — Vlambeer (@Vlambeer) September 1, 2020 This probably won’t come as a shock to anyone who’s kept up with the Dutch indie darlings, mind. Since wrapping up Nuclear Throne back in ‘15, Ismail and JW have largely pursued their own projects - the former jetting around the world to advocate for game dev communities, while the latter teamed up with buds to develop games like Minit and the upcoming Disc Room....

Dying Light 2 Military Tech How To Get Military Tech From Airdrops

How to get Military Tech in Dying Light 2 Military Tech is one of the rarest resources in Dying Light 2. You can only obtain it by completing Military Airdrop activities. You can spot these activities by scoping out certain (generally high) rooftops with your binoculars. After you’ve spotted one, it’ll be marked on your map with a parachute icon. The idea of the Military Airdrop activity is simple: all you need to do is reach the roof and open the Airdrop crate....

Ea Didn T Fully Consider Decision To Delist Syndicate And Ultima Underworld From Gog

Now EA have said they’ll have a “process in place” in future so things like this don’t happen. Speaking to our cousins over at GamesIndustry.biz, EA’s executive vice president for marketing, commercial and positive play Chris Bruzzo said that they didn’t consider players’ best interests when removing the games. “When making decisions that affect players we take the time to review exactly what the potential impacts are and whether they serve the players best interests,” he told GI....

Ea Play Will Now Become Part Of Xbox Games Pass For Pc Next Year

EA Play (formerly Origin Access) is the publisher’s own £4-a-month subscription service, letting you play a good range of classics from EA’s back catalogue. While new titles are locked behind EA Play Pro, the base subscription will still get you a good 10-hour trial at the publisher’s newest newness. Even without those hot new games, though, there’s a lotta neat stuff included in EA Play. Getting everything from Mass Effect to Sim City 2000 on Games Pass is a pretty massive boon....

Echoes Of The Eye Is Sensational Dlc For Outer Wilds Don T Let Anyone Spoil It For You

These had to be the screenshots used as just about everything else you point the camera at in Echoes of the Eye is a something. And really something. When I stepped into the location hosting the expansion I let out a tiny “oh my”, and felt the instant need to show it to someone else. But people who give in to that impulse are not your friend. In a game that has already given us planets crumbling into a black hole core and binary moons sucking the surface from one another, the new addition is somehow even more out there: I stared at it for a good few minutes before realising it wasn’t just some skybox designed to suggest scale, but a fully explorabl- no, I shouldn’t....

Eco Review Early Access

Approaching the end of its first year in early access, this is a crafting and survival game in which the fragility of the environment is meticulously simulated. Cut down too many trees to build your house and you’ll destroy the habitat of the local rabbit population, forever depleting a source of food and cute ears from the server. Build too many machines and they’ll belch out industrial waste, polluting the ground or pumping noxious gases into the atmosphere....

Elden Ring S New Trailer Explains What It S All About

Gameplay overview is as gameplay overview does: a broad sense of what the game is, showing a broad range of things in it. A trailer you could send to your pal who’s a bit out of touch with games these days and casually messages you, “What’s up with this Elden Ring with ads on the side of the bus?” Like a child watching Doctor Who, I hid behind my chair and watched the trailer with one hand plugging an ear and the other’s fingers blocking my eyes, because I want to see it but I don’t want to see it....

Electronic Arts Feel Very Very Confident About Bioware S Future

“From the outside wall, there have been some blips in their delivery over the last couple of years,” Wilson says in answer to a question about the studio’s future, “but that has come as a result of them pushing deeply into innovation and creativity”. He also acknowledges concerns over two recent major departures, studio head Casey Hudson and executive producer Mark Darrah. Wilson calls this the natural course of a creative studio....
